Day 1 : Distance: 170 kms. /
Driving Time: 5 hrs. (approx.) /
Altitude of Phuntsholing: 293 mts.

Reception of guests at NJP/ Bagdogra airport and drive
to Phuntsholing. It is a thriving commercial center on the
northern edge of the Indian Plains.
On arrival complete the immigration formalities and
checkin at the hotel.
Evening, stroll around Zangtho Pelri chorten and
Phuntsholing town

Overnight : Phuntsholing

Day 2 – Drive to Thimphu.
Distance : 176 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs.
/ Altitude of Thimphu: 2248 mts.

  • On the way, we will halt at Wangkha waterfall and Chozum for sightseeing
  • Tashichho Dzong night view from view point

Overnight : Thimphu

Day 3 – Punakha Day Excursion Distance: 77 kms.
/ Driving Time: 4 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1200 mts.

  •  Drive to Punakha
  •  Dochula Pass (3,150 m): During clear days you will get
    a chance to see Himalayan mountain ranges of Bhutan.
  • Chimi Lhakhang: The Temple, also known as Temple of
    Fertility
  • Punakha Dzong: built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time
    of the second king, it served as the seat of the
    Government
  • Bhutan longest suspension bridge
  • Drive Back to Thimphu

Overnight : Thimphu

Day 4 – Thimphu Sightseeing and Drive to
Paro

  • Sightseeing and Drive to Paro
  •  Buddha Point (Buddha Dordenma Status)
  •  The Royal Textile Museum
  •  National Institute for Zorig Chusum/ Bhutan Post Museum
    (if you are interested to make stamp with your own
    picture)
  •  Simply Bhutan
  •  Mini Zoo/ BBS tower
  • Visit craft market (Bazar)/ Centenary Farm Market
  • Drive to Paro

Day 5 – Tiger Nest hike and local sightseeing

  • Tiger Nest Hike and local activities
  •  Hike to Tiger’s Nest: Taktsang literally means
    –“Tiger’s nest”. This monastery was built in the
    1600s and clings to a sheer rock cliff that plunges
    900m above the valley.
  • Hot stone bath: A Bhutanese hot stone bath is the
    perfect way to relax and wind down after a long day of
    sightseeing and is also believed to have numerous
    health benefits.
  •  Paro town towards evening for shopping and
    photography

Day 6 – Local Sightseeing and Drive to Phuntsholing Distance: 141 kms. /
Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of
Phuntsholing: 293 mts.

  • Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong – Nya-mey Zam):
    Meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels
  • Paro Museum (Ta Dzong): he Museum has on display
  • various old and rich art and artifacts of Bhutan
  • Drive to Phuntsholing

Overnight : Phuntsholing

Day 7 : Drive to NJP/ Bagdogra airport
and see off
