The pilgrimage to Guruvayur is regarded as extremely fortunate, and those who make the journey seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, inner tranquilly, and spiritual development. More than just a physical journey, the Guruvayur Yatra is a deeply spiritual and emotional experience that fosters a profound connection with the divine. It is a route to devotion, inner peace, and increased spiritual virtue for many.

Departure Information:

  • Bus Departure: Ashoka Pillar, Jayanagar, South Bengaluru at 8:00 PM
  • Reporting Time: 7:30 PM
    Important: Please bring your dinner with you or ensure you finish eating before boarding the bus

Day 1 : Arrival at ISKCON, South Vrindavan (Near Guruvayur Temple): Approximately 6:00 AM

  • Morning Duties and Darshan: After completing our morning rituals, we will have darshan of the deities at 8:30 AM, followed by breakfast prasadam.
  • Sightseeing Schedule (Starting at 9:00 AM):
    We will visit the following temples:
  • Sri Vadakkunnathan Temple
  • Paramekkavu Bhagavathi Temple
  • Kuttankulangara Mahavishnu Temple
  • Thiruvambady Sri Krishna Temple
  • Return to South Vrindavan: We expect to arrive back by 1:30 PM, where lunch prasadam will be served.
  • Accommodation at Guruvayur: We will reach the accommodation at 2:30 PM and have some rest until 5:30 PM.
  • Evening Local Temple Visits (Starting at 5:30 PM):
    We will take an auto to visit local temples, including:
  • Mammiyur Sri Mahadeva Temple
  • Thiruvenkitachalapathi Temple
  • Elephant Temple, etc.
    (The fare will be shared among the group.)
  • Dinner: At 8:00 PM, dinner prasadam will be served at our accommodation in Guruvayur.
  • Seeveli Darshan: At 8:30 PM, we will have the Seeveli darshan of Lord Guruvayurappan and conclude our day.

Day 2 : Early Morning (3:30 AM): Begin the day with Guruvayurapan Vakacharthu darshan.
Afterward, return to your rooms for rest until 8:00 AM.

  • Check-Out: Please check out of your room by 8:00 AM.
  • Breakfast at ISKCON, South Vrindavan (8:30 AM):
    Arrive at ISKCON South Vrindavan for darshan, followed by breakfast prasadam.
  • Temple Visits (9:00 AM): We will visit the following temples:
  • Seetha Ramaswamy Temple, Punkunnam (Trissur)
  • Kurooramma Sreekrishna Temple
  • Return to ISKCON, South Vrindavan (1:30 PM):
    Reach ISKCON for lunch prasadam and some rest until 5:00 PM. (A local tour will be arranged during this time.)
  • Evening Activities (5:30 PM):
    Participate in a grand kirtan led by all devotees until Sandhya Arathi.
  • Dinner (7:30 PM):
    Dinner prasadam will be served.
  • Bus Departure (8:00 PM):We will board our bus for departure.
