JAGANNATH PURI – MAYAPUR YATRA

The Jagannath Puri Yatra, an annual chariot event held at the Jagannath temple in India, is well-known by many spiritual seekers. This holy place brings divine vibrations into one’s journey through life. 

Puri is known for Ratha Yatra, which is an Hindu celebration honouring Lord Jagannath that takes place at Shri Khetra Puri Dham in Odisha. This significant annual chariot event is one of the oldest Ratha yatra as mentioned in holy scriptures of Brahma Purana.

Lord Jagannath, his brother Lord Balabhadra, and his sister Subhadra travel from Jagannath temple to Gundicha temple during the celebration. This ratha yatra, the chariot covers around 18kms across various districts of Odisha. The ratha yatra covers 12 stages in the journey, beginning with the Mangal Arti at the Jagannath Temple followed by Snan Yatra, where the deities are with 108 pitchers or aromatic water.

Picking yatris from Bhuvaneshwar Airport by Car/TT on that morning, after fresh up in ISKCON Bhuvaneshwar temple and Break fast prasadam will be visiting Lingaraja Temple, and Ananta Vasudeva Temple, Bhubaneswar. After Lunch prasadam from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm will proceed to Sakshi gopal temple and konark sun temple. We will reach Jaganath puri around 8:00 pm after check in will have dinner prasadam and rest for the day.

After breakfast Prasadam at 7:30 Am will proceed to Jaganath temples from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Also we will visit many important temples Like , Thoda Gopinath, Gambira, Haridas Thakur Samadhi mandir, Iskcon puri, patala eswar temple , Bedi hanuman and Glories Sea bath in the evening.

After breakfast Prasadam at 7:30 am will proceed to Gundicha Temple. Indradyumna sarovar, markendeya sarovar, alwarnath temple, Birth place of Bhakthi Siddantha Saraswathi Thakur. Lunch prasadam will be served at 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Will continue temples darshan until 5:00 pm. After checking out from our hotel after dinner Prasadam at 8.00 pm will proceed to Puri railway station to Reach Howrah -Calcutta.

Our Journey continue from Howrah to Mayapur on the way we fresh up at Iskcon Calcutta after breakfast prasdam and darshan of lordship we will proceed our journey to Mayapur Dham tentatively will reach by between 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. After lunch check in to the hotel and rest for the day, Just enjoy your stay in Sri Mayapur Dham. If time permits will have Ganga Bath in the evening.

After mangal Arathi and Breakfast Prasadam we will visit Glories temples in and around Sri Mayapur/Navadweep Dham
What does Nabadwip mean?
In the Bengali language, its name means “nine-islands”. Those nine-islands are Antardwip (Sri Mayapur), Rudradwip, Ritudwip, Simantadwip, Madhyadwip, Godrumdwip, Modadrumdwip, Jahnudwip, Koladwip, and Modadrumdwip.

After mangal Arathi Darshan and Breakfast prasadam we will visit Glories temples in and around Sri Navadweep Dham.

After mangal Arathi and Breakfast prasadam we will have guided tour to TOVP our New Biggest temple in Asia. After our early Lunch prasadam Check out from our hotel will proceed to Calcutta Airport.
Please Note that the Breakfast Prasadam will be served at Between 8:00 am to 9:00 am, Lunch at Between 1.00 to 2.0 pm and Dinner will be Between 8.00 to 9:00 pm. In some places minor time variations will be there to serve Prasadam.
